Symptoms of Gastrointestinal (GI) Cancer:

GI cancers can manifest with a variety of symptoms, and early detection is crucial for successful treatment. Some common symptoms associated with GI cancer include:

  • Unexplained weight loss
  • Abdominal pain or discomfort
  • Persistent indigestion or heartburn
  • Difficulty swallowing (dysphagia)
  • Changes in bowel habits, such as diarrhea or constipation
  • Blood in the stool or black, tarry stools
  • Fatigue and weakness
  • Nausea and vomiting
  • Jaundice (yellowing of the skin and eyes)

It's important to note that these symptoms can be caused by conditions other than cancer. However, if you experience any of these symptoms, it's essential to seek medical evaluation to rule out potential serious conditions, including GI cancer.

Most GI cancer patients need multimodality treatment. Get personalised plan with Multidisciplinary tumour Board.
